FRP foam sheets for wall insulation are a 3-layer structural composite panel: the panel and the base plate are FRP panels, and the core is various types of foam.
FRP has good impact and corrosion resistance and is strong and durable. Foam core can be polyurethane (PU), XPS, EPS, etc. These foam cores are lightweight materials and have thermal and acoustic insulation effects. The FRP foam sandwich panel is a two-in-one product, with the characteristics of both FRP and foam core.
Features
1. The surface of the panel is scratch-resistant, impact-resistant, and corrosion-resistant. It is strong and durable and requires minimal maintenance.
2. Panels with different foam core materials can achieve different functions and prices. Polyurethane foam is fire-resistant and thermal-insulating; XPS foam is thermal-insulating, soundproof, and waterproof; EPS foam is thermal-insulating, waterproof, and low-cost.
3. Even if the thickness of the panel is large, the weight can still be light due to the low density of the foam core material. This can reduce the load on engineering projects.
4. Easy to cut and install. A regular band saw or CNC cutting machine can be used for cutting.
5. Good flatness and even the flatness of the panel's size is also quite good.
