The application of FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) sandwich panels of different materials
Roof and wall panels: These panels focus on wind resistance, UV resistance and heat insulation. Commonly, foam polyurethane (PU) or foam polystyrene (PIR) foam core materials are widely used due to their excellent insulation properties, while the FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) surface layer can resist rain, wind and corrosion. They are widely used in factories, warehouses and agricultural buildings.
Refrigeration panels: Specifically designed for low-temperature environments (such as refrigerated warehouses and cold storage facilities), these panels have high insulation core materials like foam polyurethane or foam polystyrene. They usually also contain a moisture-proof layer to prevent condensation and maintain stable temperature.
Cleanroom panels: Used in pharmaceutical, electronic and food processing facilities, these panels have a smooth, non-porous FRP surface layer that can resist bacterial growth and is easy to clean. They may use foam polyurethane or polystyrene foam core materials and have antibacterial variants.
Transport panels: Lightweight and impact-resistant, these panels are used for truck bodies, trailer walls and ship interiors. Honeycomb or lightweight birch wood core materials are favored due to their strength-to-weight ratio, while the FRP surface layer can resist wear and corrosion.
Modular building panels: Perfect for prefabricated buildings and portable sheds, these panels are installed quickly and can be customized. Polystyrene or polyurethane core materials have achieved a balance between cost and performance, making them suitable for temporary or permanent building structures.
