FRP shading panel, also known as glass fiber reinforced plastic shading panel, is a high-performance composite material. It is mainly composed of three key components: high-performance coating, reinforced polyester resin, and glass fibers. The coating plays a crucial role in preventing ultraviolet rays and static electricity. By blocking ultraviolet rays, it effectively prevents the yellowing and aging of the polyester inside the FRP panel, thus maintaining its light transmission performance over a long period. The anti-static function ensures that dust on the surface can be easily washed away by rain or blown away by the wind, keeping the surface clean and beautiful.
High Light Transmittance
The light transmittance of FRP shading panels can reach 50% - 85% (up to 85% ± 2% for colorless panels). They can effectively introduce natural light into the interior, creating a bright and comfortable environment. The light is evenly scattered, soft and not dazzling, reducing eye fatigue.
UV Resistance
With DuPont film, the UV resistance rate of FRP panels is ≥ 99%, significantly delaying the material's aging process and extending its service life. At the same time, it protects indoor items from UV damage.
Lightweight and Strong
The density of FRP shading panels is only about half that of glass. However, they have excellent mechanical properties, with a bending strength of 125 - 181 megapascals and an impact resistance 250 - 300 times that of ordinary glass. They can withstand certain impacts, such as hail, without being damaged easily.
Flame Retardant
FRP shading panels can meet different flame retardant grades. For example, some can reach F2 (OI ≥ 26%) or F1 (OI ≥ 30%) standards. They do not drip when burning and can quickly exhaust smoke, complying with GB/T 14206 - 2005 standards, thus being safer for use in buildings with fire protection requirements.
Excellent Weather Resistance
These panels can operate stably within the temperature range of - 40℃ to 120℃. After 4800 hours of salt spray test, no delamination occurred, indicating their high corrosion resistance. They are suitable for various harsh weather conditions, including cold and hot regions, as well as acid and alkali environments.
Simple Installation
The thermal expansion coefficient of FRP shading panels is similar to that of color steel plates. They can be customized in various specifications such as 840 mm and 980 mm. Installation is quick and convenient. Using self-tapping screws and silicone sealant, it also has excellent waterproof performance.
