- Introduction to glass fiber gel-coated board materials
As a high-performance composite material, the material composition and core performance of glass fiber gel-coated board are the key to its application value. It is mainly composed of glass fiber reinforcement layer and gel coat coating. The glass fiber reinforcement layer gives the board high strength and good rigidity, while the gel coat coating provides a smooth, beautiful, and corrosion-resistant surface. This structural design enables the gel-coated board to have excellent compressive resistance and can withstand large external forces without deformation. At the same time, it has excellent corrosion resistance and can be used for a long time in a variety of harsh environments.
- Material composition and structural characteristics
Glass fiber reinforcement layer: With its high strength and low density, glass fiber is the key component to enhance the mechanical properties of the board. Many glass fibers are interwoven to form a tight network structure, which greatly improves the bending strength and impact resistance of the board.
Gel coat coating: This coating not only adds a bright appearance to the board, but more importantly, it has excellent chemical stability.
